Ordering & Shipping
How long will my order take to arrive?
Orders are usually packed and dispatched within 1–3 business days. Once shipped, you’ll receive tracking information via email for tracked orders.

Do you offer local Wellington delivery?
Yes. Local delivery is available throughout Wellington City for a flat rate of $7.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. International shipping is calculated at checkout based on your location and order weight. We charge shipping at cost price and, where available, offer both tracked and untracked options.
If you select an untracked option, tracking information will not be available once your order has been dispatched.
Can I track my order?
If you select a tracked shipping option, tracking details will be sent to the email address used at checkout once your order has been dispatched.
What happens if my order contains a pre-order item?
If your order includes a pre-order item, your full order will be shipped together once the pre-order item has arrived. Any estimated arrival dates are noted on the product page.
Gifting
Do you offer gift wrapping?
Yes. We offer gift wrapping and personalised gift messages so your order can arrive ready to give.
You can explore our premium wrapping options here or simply select gift wrapping at checkout for our standard gift wrap options.
Can I include a personalised message?
Yes. You can include a gift message when placing your order. We’ll make sure it is packed with care.
Can you send a gift directly to the recipient?
Absolutely. Enter the recipient’s shipping address at checkout and include a gift message if you’d like us to add one.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes. Our gift cards are available online and are a good option when you’d rather let someone choose for themselves.
Do you offer corporate gifting?
Yes. We can help with thoughtful gifts for teams, clients and events, including curated gifts, personalised notes and direct-to-recipient delivery.

Products & Returns
What is your return policy?
Due to the nature of many of our products, we generally do not offer returns or exchanges unless an item arrives faulty or damaged.
If something isn’t right, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and include your order number.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and photos of the damaged item and packaging. We’ll do our best to resolve the issue.
Why do some products come and go?
We choose products thoughtfully and often work with small makers, limited runs and seasonal stock. This means some items may not be restocked once they sell out.
Where are you based?
The Minimal Co is based in Wellington, New Zealand. We no longer have a physical retail store, but we continue to sell online and occasionally appear at local events and markets.

What is The Minimal Studio?
The Minimal Studio is our collection of event hire pieces, Capture Kits and thoughtful gathering essentials designed to help create meaningful celebrations and everyday moments.
What are Capture Kits?
Capture Kits are a guest-led way to document weddings, parties and celebrations using camcorders, instant cameras and reusable film cameras.
They are available through The Minimal Studio.
Do you offer event hire outside Wellington?
The Minimal Studio is based in Wellington. Some hire items may be available outside Wellington depending on the item, location and event date. Please get in touch if you’re unsure.
Can I reserve Studio items in advance?
Yes. We recommend enquiring as early as possible, especially for weddings, summer events and busy periods.
