Pink & Red Paper Chain Kit

Price: $42.95 Regular price:

This is a preorder item and is due for disptach in late September. Please note, orders containing preorder items will be shipped together.

A paper chain kit containing 160 patterned strips in rich shades of pink and red, enough to create approximately ten metres of handmade paper chains.

Each recycled paper strip is screen printed by hand on both sides in an assortment of complementary patterns. Simply join each loop using glue or staples to create your chains, then drape them across the tree, along a mantel, above the table or throughout the house.

Once assembled, the finished chains can be carefully stored rather than pulled apart, ready to become part of your Christmas decorations for years to come.

Why we chose this

Making paper chains is such a simple Christmas ritual, but traditionally the finished decorations are treated as temporary.

We love that these turn the same familiar activity into something worth keeping. Making them is part of the experience - around the table, perhaps with a drink and Christmas music on - but the finished chains then become part of the Christmas box rather than the recycling bin.

The pink and red palette also pairs beautifully with the matching paper crowns, giving you the option of carrying the same colours from the room onto the Christmas table.

About East End Press

East End Press is a print and design studio founded in Glasgow in 2015 by designer and printmaker Ellie Hodesdon.

Known for colourful paper decorations and stationery, their designs begin in Scotland before being screen printed by hand by skilled printmakers in Jaipur. The paper is made from recycled cotton pulp, with the handmade printing process giving each piece its distinctive colour, texture and slight variations.

The makers East End Press works with are fair-trade and independently audited by SEDEX, supporting responsible working practices throughout their supply chain.

At The Minimal, we love their approach to celebration: joyful, beautifully made objects that can be brought out, enjoyed and carefully kept for gatherings and traditions to come.
