Absolute Solid Cologne

A bold, fruit-led solid cologne balanced by smoky woods, musk and a warm base.

Absolute opens with pineapple, lime and apple before developing into birch, oak moss and musk. Vanilla, ambergris and jasmine soften the base, creating a fragrance that is fruity and sharp at first, then gradually becomes warmer, darker and more grounded on the skin.

The concentrated balm is held in a compact sliding tin that fits easily into a pocket, desk drawer or travel bag. Warm a small amount with your fingertip and apply it to pulse points whenever you want to refresh the scent.

Why we chose it

Absolute brings something bolder to the collection.

Its bright fruit notes make an immediate impression, but the smoky birch, oak moss and musk give it greater depth as it develops. We chose it for those who prefer a more noticeable fragrance, or who want something that feels a little more distinctive for evenings and occasions while remaining practical enough for everyday use.

Together, Absolute, Icon and Wayfarer offer three clearly different directions rather than minor variations of the same scent.

Solid State was founded in 2015 by award-winning barber and stylist Anthony Narsi, following a career spent between Melbourne and London helping people look, smell and feel their best.

Born in Melbourne and made in Australia, the brand reimagines conventional cologne as a compact solid balm designed for pockets, suitcases and everyday use. Its fragrances combine considered scent profiles with a practical format that can be carried and reapplied wherever the day leads.

We chose Solid State because its products make an everyday ritual simpler without losing the pleasure and personality of wearing fragrance.
