Cheri the Snake Charmer Salted Caramels

Price: $16.50 Regular price:

Soft, chewy caramels wrapped in creamy cashew milk chocolate and finished with a sprinkle of sea salt.

Cheri the Snake Charmer brings together rich caramel, smooth vegan chocolate and a little salt to create something deeply satisfying and almost impossible to stop eating. Sweet, salty and wonderfully chewy, these are the sort of treats that disappear quickly once the packet is opened.

Made with transparent-trade Dominican cacao and plant-based ingredients, they deliver all the comfort of traditional chocolate caramels in a beautifully considered dairy-free confection.

Why we chose this

We love products that feel equally at home in a gift box, beside a cup of coffee or shared after dinner.

Cheri feels playful, generous and a little nostalgic. The combination of soft caramel, creamy chocolate and sea salt is familiar, but the vegan cashew chocolate gives it a richness that feels surprisingly luxurious.

They are the sort of sweet treat we imagine adding to a host gift, taking away for a weekend, or keeping in the pantry for visitors.

Ingredients

Glucose syrup, sweetened condensed coconut milk (coconut milk, cane sugar, mineral [170], stabiliser [466], sea salt), brown sugar, cashew milk chocolate (cocoa solids 50%, organic cane sugar, roasted cashews), hydrogenated coconut oil, vanilla paste, salt and sea salt.

About Wonderland Chocolate

Wonderland Chocolate is a small Wellington chocolate maker creating playful plant-based treats from their factory in Lyall Bay.

Founded by Kate after struggling to find genuinely delicious dairy-free chocolate, Wonderland combines traditional confectionery, thoughtful ingredients and a sense of fun. Their chocolates are made using transparent-trade cacao and handcrafted in small batches on the Miramar Peninsula.

The name itself comes from Wellington’s original Wonderland amusement park, which once stood in Miramar and brought rides, fireworks and entertainment to the peninsula in the early 1900s. That sense of joy, nostalgia and delight continues to influence the brand today.

At The Minimal, we particularly love that Wonderland feels both local and unexpected. Their chocolates are made just a few kilometres from our own home, bringing together beautiful ingredients, playful packaging and the kind of treats that make people smile.
