The Capture Kit is built around a simple idea: placing cameras into the hands of guests to capture a celebration as it naturally unfolds - unpolished, participatory, and full of movement, atmosphere, and sound.
The Keepsake Capture Kit is the most expansive version of the collection, combining video, film, and instant photography into a layered record of the celebration as it unfolds.
Alongside the camcorder and film cameras, the addition of an Instax camera introduces a more immediate and interactive element to the day. Guests can capture moments in real time, creating instant prints that become part of the celebration itself - tucked into bags, collected for the hosts or passed around the dance floor before the night is over.
The result is a collection that feels textured, emotional, and alive: moving footage filled with atmosphere and sound, developed film images with a nostalgic softness, and instant photographs that exist as physical keepsakes from the moment they’re taken. Following the event, selected camcorder footage is also shaped into a short editorial film designed to capture the feeling and movement of the day.
Designed for those who want guests actively participating in documenting the day, the Keepsake kit creates a rich and highly personal archive of the celebration from multiple perspectives.

- 1 × Instax Mini 90 camera
- 2 × rolls of 35mm film (loaded)
- 1 × Instax Mini film pack (10 shots)
- Film development and digital scans included
- All original camcorder footage returned digitally
- One short editorial film (45–90 seconds)
Additional Instax film can be supplied as an add-on, or you are welcome to provide your own depending on how many instant photographs you would like captured throughout the celebration.

Items are collected and returned by the hirer unless delivery has been arranged in advance.
Local delivery within Wellington may be available for select items (fees apply).
A minimum hire spend of $250 applies to all bookings.
Some items require a refundable security bond.
Bonds are held against loss or damage and returned promptly once items are returned in acceptable condition.
Deposit amounts vary by category and are clearly outlined at booking.
Standard hire period: Three days
Hire periods are designed to allow flexibility around event timing.
Pickup and return days can be arranged to suit your schedule and the event, within the standard three-day hire window.
Extended hire may be available by arrangement.
All items are maintained to a high standard and checked between hires.
As with all professionally hired goods, minor wear may be visible and is considered part of the character of reuse.
Full hire terms, including care and return requirements, are provided when a booking is confirmed.
