Make your own: Crunchy Roasted Chickpeas

Chickpeas - an essential in a plant based diet! They’re versatile, cheap and low waste too! You can make falafels, hummus, patties and you can make these incredibly delicious crunchy roasted chickpeas. Perfect in salads, toasted sandwiches or even as a snack. These can easily be changed up by adding your favourite spices or cooking for them shorter amount of time for a softer texture or longer for a crunchier texture. 
The Minimal Co. - Chickpeas 
Ingredients: 
- 1x 420g can of chickpeas drained and rinsed  (save the Aquafaba for a meringue recipe!)
- 1 tbsp cumin
- 1/2 tbsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 1 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt & pepper
 
Method:
1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and line a baking sheet with some un-baking paper
2. Add the drained and rinsed chickpeas to the tray.
3. Add the cumin, paprika, garlic salt, salt, pepper and oil to the chickpeas.
4. Mix until fully incorporated and put in the preheated oven.
5. Bake for 15 - 20 minutes and stir the chickpeas once or twice every ten minutes.
6. Serve hot or cold and store in an airtight container in the fridge for 5 days - if there are any left!
